Starting pay $60,000 

Reimbursement for clinical licensure, exams and renewals!


POSITION SUMMARY:

Access Clinician is responsible for coordinating with a team of intake professionals and care coordinators to support access to care. Access Clinicians perform comprehensive assessments for new clients including determination of needs and appropriate services as well as diagnostics formulation. Access clinicians may also provide brief treatment to a caseload of individuals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Completes client intake assessments.
  • Responsible for all assessment documentation.
  • Submits primary referral.
  • Identifies improvements in all assessment processes.
  • Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Ability to perform concurrent documentation.
  • Maintains professional, clinical and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional associations.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Crisis assessment skills and familiarity with community resources.
  • Comprehensive Assessment skills including Mental Status Exam.
  • Differential Diagnosis skill.
  • Case conceptualization skill.
  • Excellent Technical Writing skills.
  •  Excellent Computer skills.

SCHEDULE: 
Monday - Friday daytime hours. No weekend or holiday requirement.

LOCATION: 
Lewiston, Maine

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in social work. Independent or conditional licensure required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Appropriate licensing certificate: LCSW, LCPC, LMSW-cc, or LCPC-c

  • Valid Driver’s License.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated competence in Mental Health discipline.

  • Persons with lived experience in the Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse system are encouraged to apply.
